The Outreach Community Center is a faith-based non-profit outreach center founded on Christian Principles. Our purpose is to serve the needs of the community as we are led by God.

Kenny and Marsha Mayner have been involved in missions both within the United States and abroad for several years. Knowing the needs in their own community were just as great, their vision turned toward creating a place right here in their own community that could be used to meet those needs. In May of 2011, the Community Outreach Center was opened and its Board of Directors was formed.

Since that time, many events have been held to meet the needs of our community. In August of each year, with the help of our area churches, we hold an annual “Back to School Bash” supplying over 175 children in our community and surrounding communities with all of the school supplies needed to begin another school year.

Also, twice a year, clothing giveaways are held providing clothing for all ages from infant through adult. Household, furniture, coat, and Christmas giveaways are also held throughout the year.

The center also meets the immediate needs that may arise in our community, whether it is due to a fire, domestic violence, the need for food or any other unforeseen circumstance.

In November 2011, the Outreach Community Center held its first Thanksgiving Dinner for the community with a very favorable response and continues this tradition. We also provide Christmas gifts for area families each year.

In addition to meeting the needs of our community, the Outreach Community Center is available to the community for graduation parties, birthday parties, family gatherings and other events at no charge. Exercise classes are held on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings and other events are happening all the time.

It is the hope of the Outreach Community Center to continue to develop new programs and events as we continue to grow. We thank all individuals and businesses who have helped to make the Outreach Community Center a success.
